I can't set a CTCSS/DCS tone on a channel

If you're having trouble setting a CTCSS or DCS tone on a conventional channel, make sure the audio type for the channel is correctly set.

The audio type must be set to 'Analogue' for a tone to be configured. Setting the audio type to 'All' or 'Digital' will cause the tone to be cleared and will prevent you from setting a tone.
